Bergen has the charm of a small fishing town, while at the same time offering enough sights, museums, and cozy neighborhoods to fill several days.<\/p><p data-start=\"441\" data-end=\"723\">I have been to Bergen several times over the past five years, and personally I find a city trip to Bergen one of the most special city trips I have taken in recent years. It is precisely the combination of city and nature that makes Bergen a unique destination within Europe for me.<\/p><p data-start=\"725\" data-end=\"1055\">Because of the popularity of highlights such as Bryggen, the Fl\u00f8ibanen, and the nearby fjords, Bergen attracts millions of visitors each year. It is busier in the city especially in spring and summer, while autumn and winter are quieter.
